System and freedom in writing? Discover the Bullet Journal Method
You may have already seen photos of beautifully filled diaries on Pinterest or Instagram. Artistically shaded images, imaginative pages with the names of the months or complex weekly reports and daily to-do lists. They are mostly enthusiasts of the Bullet Journal method.
Do you think that it won't be quite for you, because after all, with your drawing alone, it's not extra fame? Don't worry, we don't want to turn you into another Michelangelo, Picasso or Herring, or the latest Pinterest star. ;-) The essence of the method is something completely different.
Write in bullet points
The name Bullet Journal, literally translated as a "diary with bullet points", is based on a simple rule: Write in bullet points! This means that you don't have to worry about capital letters, periods, commas or other grammar rules. You write briefly, concisely, quickly and above all according to yourself - the diary is supposed to serve you and not you him.
By writing down our own thoughts, feelings, tasks and plans, it teaches us to be closer to ourselves. And fulfill our dreams . Because, if we get to know ourselves better, we will be able to choose the essentials even in a noisy time full of information. And to achieve goals that will make us happy because they will give us real meaning.
System and practice
The basic pillars of the method are system and practice. Every proper Bulleťák starts with an Index (something like the table of contents for a book), which you fill in later. So you can start with a view into the future of the most important things, you will smoothly move to the monthly overview, then to the weekly overview, and the daily overview awaits you. The so-called occasional lists are also an interesting part of the method. However, it is up to you which list you create. It can be a list of books read, a gratitude journal or tracking habits. Although BuJo is mainly about the system, it also provides enormous freedom and scope for creativity. That's why we love him so much.
