After three books about the Tatra mountain huts, high-altitude porters and Slovak trail markers, which searched for stories high up on the ridges, this time we came back down. Below the peaks, into everyday valleys and to places we usually just pass by.
We'll take you to ten regions of Slovakia you won't find in the usual guidebooks: among vineyards laced with stone walls hundreds of years old, to the sand dunes of Záhorie where red deer bellow, into kitchens that cook only what grows within a few kilometres, and beneath the dark skies of Poloniny, with the quietest night in Central Europe.

What else should you know about it?
We could have made an ordinary book. A two-euro paperback printed on standard white paper. But that wouldn't be us. We love paper. So we decided to make a real collector's piece.
