What's inside?

A notebook that doesn't demand discipline. Just a moment when you sit down and want to put your thoughts in order.

Where will you be in 5 years?

Before you set anything, invite yourself into the future. Three questions that show you what you actually want.

How would I rate this month?

You note down what you're grateful for, what went well and how you've been. From health and relationships to your career.

From gratitude to happiness

One simple question we ask ourselves far too rarely, yet it changes how we see our whole life.

How do you want to spend this week?

Day by day, with room for intention and reflection.
And at the end, space to look back at what went well.

The path of growth

A visual map of growth, from comfort through discomfort to change. And space alongside it to write down where you are on that path right now.

Luma means light.

In Latin, in Spanish, in old fairy tales. We chose the word deliberately, because it describes something that quietly shines in each of us from time to time. Something between intuition and instinct. A knowing that needs no explanation.

It fades when we push too hard. It returns when we go quiet. This notebook is 224 pages of space for the latter.

"What if there were a place where you didn't have to prove anything?"

Luminary Journal was born from the need to slow down. From the wish to create something more than just another planner full of tasks: a space where, after a long day, you meet yourself. Because sometimes we're not looking for more motivation. We're looking for a way back to ourselves and to what has been in us all along.

Carbon footprint

Even a paper diary has a footprint. We calculated it for the whole of 2025 and divided it per item: DEFRA 2025 emission factors, transport by parcels, services and marketing by spend (GHG Protocol). We keep refining the method together with our suppliers.

≈ 1.2 kg CO₂e per diary. Roughly like driving 7 km by car.

  • Production0.58 kg · 49 %

    Materials, printing, binding and cover.

  • Running the company and marketing0.43 kg · 37 %

People, software, ads and energy, divided per item.

  • Transport to us0.09 kg · 8 %

Materials to production and finished products to the warehouse.

  • Transport to you and packaging0.07 kg · 6 %

    Parcel and box.

What we do about it

  • We print in Slovakia and Czechia. No air freight. Our warehouse sits next to the printer in Orava, so finished diaries do not travel for nothing.
  • We do not shrink-wrap diaries one by one. We use bulk packaging to cut down on plastic.
  • We ship in recycled cardboard and, when we can, in boxes our suppliers sent us goods in.
  • For trips and small transfers we book shared transport and BlaBlaCar.
  • We print to pre-orders. If something does not sell, it does not end up in the bin but in our outlet or in schools.

What you can do

  • Order more things at once. One parcel instead of three.
  • Choose a pickup point or locker instead of home delivery. So the courier does not drive out for a single parcel.
  • Buy second quality and sale items. We also work with production seconds. Everything usable is cheaper in our second quality section. You save money and rescue something that would not get a chance elsewhere.
  • Buy only what you will really use. The smallest footprint belongs to the diary that never had to be made.
