It's nice to show the beauty of our mountains in Poustroch. But it is equally important to point out the danger they face.

That's why we started this text with a statement from Petr Tiché from an interview with Denník N. The official who saved the primeval forests in Bystra dolina.

Since 2012, he has been fighting with the juggernaut Lesy SR, which planned to mine in one of the few preserved Slovak primeval forests. When Lesy SR filed a lawsuit against his decision not to permit mining, he succeeded at the Regional Office. Then on appeal. And also at the Supreme Court.

The bright valley was saved. Peter Tichý persevered in his efforts and rightfully deserves the first National Parks Hero award from #MySmeLes. 💚

You will surely recognize Ďumbier as the highest peak of the Low Tatras. But do you know about Bystra dolina on its southern side? It is one of the few valleys in which one of the oldest primeval forests in Slovakia has been preserved. The fact that we can still enjoy it is the merit of one person. Peter the Silent.

Thanks to him, the spruce trees under the Chopok - Juh ski center are still standing. And you can hang the new Poustr in your living room as a reminder that honesty and perseverance win over greed.

Paper: Woodstock weight 225g with 80% recycled fibers and 20% pure pulp fibers without elemental chlorine and an interesting structure. FSC of course. It does not shrink, the color does not fade for at least 50 years. Supplier: Fedrigoni.

Packaging: In a cardboard tube. The Poustr may roll a bit at first, but it will level out. The frame with the passpart is not part of the package.
